Howdy!

I’m Ciara! An Albuquerque, NM native with a soft spot for family time, big laughs, and any activity that lets me move, sweat, or unwind.

I'm happiest when I’m hanging out with my husband, Julian,  discovering a new favorite restaurant, traveling to new places, rooting (and sometimes yelling) for our favorite teams at various sporting events, or sipping a perfectly crafted cocktail. But we both know some of our best adventures happen at home, just chilling with our dog, Mowgli, who is actually the King of the house. I've also jumped back into one of my lifelong loves: coaching. Being the Assistant Varsity Cheer Coach at La Cueva High School means my days now include a mix of stunts, tumbling, spirit, and trying to convince teenagers that stretching is, in fact, important.

After receiving my Bachelors in Business Administration from The University of New Mexico, I landed in Austin in 2016 to earn my Masters in Advertising and PR at The University of Texas. Like most grad students, I paid the bills behind the bar,  unknowingly prepping for a future in the spirits industry. After meeting Garrison Brothers Founder Dan Garrison as a guest lecturer at one of my classes, my life completely rerouted. I became the brand’s first Marketing Intern, joined full-time not long after as the first Project Manager, and now I get to help bring our bourbon to life through creative experiences and programs around the country as our Director of Trade Marketing.

At my core, I’m all about building connection, spreading a little joy, and making work feel a lot less like work.
